Dog Poo Pick-Up Crew provides pet waste services for residential properties, businesses and commercial properties. The terms of service for businesses and commercial properties may vary and therefore will be determined at the time of proposal.

The Process

After you contact the Dog Poo Pick-Up Crew, we will arrange to visit you at your property for a consultation.

During this consultation, a quote will be given.

If the quote is accepted, then payment will be expected before services begin.

Payment

Payment is expected before services begin. Invoices can be paid by debit or credit card. Please contact us if you unable to pay by card, and we will attempt to accommodate you.

Service

Dog Poo Pick-Up Crew provides dog waste services, as follows:

-          Travel to your property

-          Pick-up dog waste from your outdoor area

-          Bag the dog waste

-          Bin the dog waste in your general waste wheelie bin

-          Spray our equipment and the bottom of our shoes with a vet-grade disinfectant

Dog Poo Pick-Up Crew may also offer other pet-related services upon request, including dog walking, and pet visits.

One-Time Service

For a one-time service, we require a $50 non-refundable deposit before the service begins, with the remainder of the payment to be charged after the service has been completed.

Recurring Services

Dog Poo Pick-Up Crew offers a subscription-based service. Payment for these recurring services are pre-paid and charged monthly. An invoice will be sent at the end of each month and will be due by the first day of the following month. The monthly rate will be determined by the cost of services provided in a year, divided by 12. (Please note: Due to Dog Poo Pick-Up Crew's two-week Christmas Holiday period, any customers who would otherwise be serviced during those two weeks will have their December and January monthly payment decreased by the amount of the costs of the regular services they did not receive in that time period. See Terms of Service: Variations to Services for more information).

If you begin your subscription part way through a month, you will be charged on the day of our first visit, and only for the services that will be provided for the remainder of that month. You will then begin paying the monthly rate on the first day of the next month.

If payment is not made by the first day of the month, we will cease our services immediately until payment is received. If payment is successfully made within that month, the full monthly rate will still be charged, and no refunds will be offered for services that may have been skipped before the payment was received. If no payment is received in that month, then services will be cancelled.

Cancelling Recurring Services

Your subscription is automatically renewed on a monthly basis, and you may cancel it at any time by contacting Dog Poo Pick-Up Crew. If you cancel your subscription, we will continue to provide our services for the month of your last payment, or you can request that we do not continue to service your property, however, no refund will be offered.

If you wish to pause your subscription for an extended period, please contact Dog Poo Pick-Up Crew to discuss options.

Variations to Services

Our service includes picking up all dog waste in your yard during a regular service on set days that will be determined during our initial consultation. Occasionally, there will be variations to this service. No refund will be offered for variations to services. Some events that may cause a variation to service include:

Lack of Access to Yard: For example, locked gates or aggressive dog may stop us from being able to access your yard. If the yard cannot reasonably be accessed, we will skip that day’s service and pick up everything that was missed in the following visit.

Condition of Yard: While we attempt to pick up all dog waste in your yard, sometimes the condition of a yard may interfere with our ability to see or reach the waste. In these instances, we may not be able to remove all the waste. Elements that may interfere with our ability to see and reach the dog waste includes, but is not limited to, gravel, pebbles, rocks, plants, tall grass, leaves, and debris.

Dangerous Conditions: In dangerous conditions, safety will be our priority. While we are happy to work in the wind and the rain, the heat and the cold, we reserve the right not to perform our services during the following extreme conditions:

- Flooding

- Strong winds

- Thunder storm

- Heavy rain

- Hail

- Icey roads

- Extreme heat (35°C and above)

- Extreme cold (0° C and below)

- Unforeseen circumstances that would make providing service unsafe

In these circumstances, we will attempt to move your service to within two days of your regular service day, however, in the event that we need to skip a service, refunds will not be offered as we will do double-duty at the following service.

Business Holidays and ‘No Service’ Days: On the occasion of a public holiday or pre-planned day of business closure (a business holiday), or an unplanned day of business closure (a ‘No Service’ day: for example, if we cannot perform our services due to unforeseen circumstances on our part, e.g. illness), we will attempt to move your service to within two days of your regular service day, however, in the event that we need to skip a service, refunds will not be offered as we will do double-duty at the following service.

An exception to this rule occurs in services that run over late December and Early January, when Dog Poo Pick-Up Crew closes for two weeks over Christmas and New Year. Exact dates for these two weeks will be determined and advised by December each year. If your service runs over this two-week period, you will not be charged for this period (i.e. you will receive a discount on your December and January monthly rate, equivalent to the two weeks of no service). If you require a service over the two-week closing period, we will consider requests for services charged at ‘one-off' visit rates, but we do not guarantee to be available during that time.

Other conditions: Other unforeseen conditions which are out of our control may occasionally occur. In these cases, we will attempt to move your service to within two days of your regular service day, however, in the event that we need to skip a service, refunds will not be offered as we will do double-duty at the following service.

Noticed Missed Waste?

If you notice dog waste that should have reasonably been picked up during our service, please let us know immediately so that we can address it promptly, otherwise it will be addressed at the next service.
